Hi, I’m Dan Johnson
I’m the founder of Country Dance Co., based in Denver, Colorado. I’ve been dancing for over 20 years and have spent the past four years dedicated to teaching country line and partner dancing. In that time, I’ve had the privilege of bringing energy, laughter, and connection to luxury weddings, corporate events, nightlife venues, and major public festivals across Colorado and beyond.
What I love most is creating experiences where everyone feels welcome on the dance floor—whether they’ve danced for years or never taken a step. My instruction is interactive and engaging, so it’s never just about “learning moves.” It’s about breaking the ice, getting people laughing, and turning a moment into a memory.
I work closely with event planners, live bands, couples, and private clients to make sure every detail fits the vibe of the event. Professionalism, reliability, and a genuine love for country dance culture are at the core of everything I do. Whether I’m teaching a small group in a living room or leading a crowd of hundreds, my goal is always the same: make it fun, make it welcoming, and make it unforgettable.

Opened for headline artists like Darius Rucker, Chris Lane and Teddy Robb at private events and music festivals, leading interactive dance experiences to large audiences.
Led line dance instruction at corporate events, retreats, and high-end holiday parties, engaging groups of 100-400+ with fun, beginner-friendly instruction and memorable experiences.
Served as head dance instructor at Denver’s top live country music venue, where I taught more than 400 partner and line dance classes to groups of 60-100 attendees.
Brought country line dancing to luxury wedding events, birthday parties, family gatherings and destination events across Aspen, Vail, Winter Park, and throughout Colorado and parts of Wyoming.
